I now only have a cat at work, as my wife tolerated (and loved) my cats, despite her allergies to them, for over 20 years. My cats typically peed on something of mine when they were mad.
Fortunately, my bed has been safe (except for the ancient cat that needed help on/off the bed because she was 21 and had arthritis, hyperthyroidism, and kidney failure - she sometimes lost control). Any jacket left on a floor or chair, or sweatshirt, etc., was fair game.
The most common reason my cats would get mad at me was when I left for a few days. I learned that when I walked in the door after a trip, I had to lie on the floor and let them thoroughly explore and greet me.
