What are the health risks of your pet sleeping on your bed?

Sleeping with your pets is hazardous.

  1. You get too hot. Dogs and cats have a normal body temperature 3 degrees higher than human.
  2. You may fall out of bed because your dog stretched out and pushed you those last few precious inches you were allowed to use.
  3. Animals that awake to a sudden noise may stomp on tender bits. This risk is higher if you have teenagers in the house.
  4. Cat tongues are scratchy. They like to clean you when they are half-awake.
  5. You aren’t allowed to sleep in. Ever. They want breakfast.

I can't imagine not welcoming my pets on my bed.
