Warm weather! Make sure any outdoor pets have plenty of water and shade. If you take them anywhere, remember that a car can heat up to lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes, even with windows cracked. Pavement gets blisteringly hot also. Make sure to take water and a bowl with you, and wait with your pets in a shady spot while someone else runs into the store for you. If boating with pets, life jackets for them is a great idea as not all dogs can swim.
